Olley Pens New Two-Year Deal
Greg Olley has signed a new two-year contract which will keep him at the Club until the end of the 2017/18 season.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has been a key component in the Under-21s’ impressive first season at Category Two level in 2015/16, which has seen them secure a third place finish in the U21 Professional Development League 2 and reach the final of the U21 Premier League Cup.
Olley, who joined the Tigers in the summer from Newcastle United, has scored nine goals in 23 starts for Tony Pennock’s Development Squad this season.
Speaking after penning his new deal, Olley said: “I’m delighted to have extended my stay at the club.
“It’s been a good year for me - one which couldn’t have gone much better if I’m being honest.
“The hard work starts now, though. Ultimately, the aim is to kick on and progress to the first-team squad and stay there.
“However, we’ve got a good squad at first-team level, so I know that I’m going to have to bide my time and continue to progress in order to force my way in.”
