Chadwick Hails Professional Performance
Billy Chadwick praised the professional manner in which the Tigers went about their business in Tuesday night's East Riding FA Senior Cup semi-final victory over Beverley Town.
Goals from Greg Olley (2), Chadwick and Robbie McKenzie saw Jon Beale's side claim a comfortable win over the Humber Premier League outfit and book their place in the final of the competition for the second successive season.
Reflecting on the win, Chadwick said: "Obviously we're delighted to get into the final.
"We played well as a team, kept the ball and fully deserved the win. It was only 1-0 for a long time but I was always confident that we could increase our lead and thankfully we managed to do that with three goals in the last ten minutes.
"It's never easy in these types of games because obviously everyone has you down as overwhelming favourites.
"Jon (Beale) told us before the name that we needed to get the job done in a professional manner in all aspects of our game and we did that.
"Full credit to Beverley Town, they made it difficult for us but we all stuck to our task, performed well and got the job done."
Chadwick bagged the Tigers' third goal of the game with a well-taken effort and the young midfielder was pleased to get his game on the scoresheet.
"It was about time," he joked. "I always try to get on the scoresheet and I was delighted to see the ball hit the back of the net. It was a decent strike and hopefully and I can get one or two more in the remaining games."
